Buttercream
Swiss meringue buttercream
I have been asked why I use buttercream on my products. My buttercream is a Swiss meringue buttercream. It is meringue based (cooked egg white and cooked-out sugar over a double boiler, then whipped butter is added to form a base. Vanilla is added and so is Whittaker’s white chocolate. This is the buttercream that I use on my cupcakes and cakes.
Traditional icing is made from icing sugar and water. The problem with icing sugar is that it has a grainy taste. A Swiss meringue buttercream cooks the sugar out, so you get a smooth taste, without the graininess that icing sugar would bring.
Real buttercream produces a better, smoother taste, and this is why we use instead of the traditional icing sugar technique that most bakers use.

She now creates the same flavoursome delicacies so you can enjoy them in your own home.

Your order can be picked up from Cupcakes by the Dozen in Flatbush, or delivered to your home.

I accept cash, EFTPOS and credit cards for payment. Payments via. credit card will incur a 5% surcharge as a bank processing fee.
Cakes
$80 each.
Our cakes are designed to impress. We use the finest ingredients and can decorate your cake to suit your event and your personality. Each cake is 10 inches (254 mm) round, which will serve between 10 and 15 people.
Our cakes have graced the tables of many different types and styles of events, including birthdays, baby showers, work parties, and many more. $80 each.
Cupcakes & Mini Cupcakes
Cupcakes
$33 per dozen.
Our delicate cupcakes are delicious, cute, and a real treat for any occasion — whether you’re hosting a morning or afternoon tea party, or any other event, they’re a great way to treat your guests. We have a selection of 12 different delicious flavours and can create cupcakes in a wide range of styles in butter cream icing. We take cupcake orders of between 6 and 100 cupcakes.
The following flavours are available: Carrot, chocolate, banana, salted caramel, peppermint, red velvet, vanilla, mocha, lemon curd, lemon and coconut, and Nutella.
$33 per dozen (12 items in a dozen).
Mini Cupcakes
$11 per dozen (minimum 2 dozen).
These little beauties are good for kids’ parties or just a treat. Flavours are chocolate, vanilla and nutella (for multiple orders two flavours minimum 2 dozen per flavour).

BROWNIES
$15 per dozen
Our hand-made brownies are made from scratch using premium products so they taste fantastic. Flavours available are triple chocolate and raspberry-white chocolate. Like everything we make at Cupcakes by the Dozen, when we make our brownies we strive for the best so you will have a real treat to present to your guests. We can cater for large and small orders of brownies, so talk to us about how many guests you are having and how many of our delicious brownies you’d like to treat them with. $15 per dozen.
Afghans
$8.00 per dozen
The most delicious chocolate-infused afghan biscuits you are likely to see. Sumptuous biscuit, coated with Whittaker’s Chocolate icing and decorated with lines of Whittaker’s white chocolate, and topped with a walnut.
American Cheesecake
$25 each
Yummy chocolate cheesecake. Served with berry compote $10 and a Chantilly whipped cream $5 as extra’s.
My cheesecake have biscuit bases with notes of vanilla, orange and lemon, then topped with Whittaker’s chocolate shavings. Since my cheesecake is baked, and needs to set overnight, previous day ordering is required.
